"The Collaborative" is a group of people (parents, teachers and community members) that are dedicated to providing quality early care and education from birth through age eight (and beyond). 

The Collaborative was formed after receiving a Discovery grant from the William Caspar Graustein Foundation. To learn more, go to www.discovery.wcgmf.org

What we want to accomplish:

• expand the supply of high quality early childhood education
• increase the quality of existing early childhood education
• build strong connections between early care and elementary education
• improve students social, emotional and academic performance

So, what does the Collaborative do?

Parent Education, Literacy Programs, Outreach, Community Conversations, Advocacy, Bridging the Gap between seniors and youth, Empowering our children!

We establish an "Action Plan" for each year and we create programs, events and next steps for our group to take.

Volunteers

What we offer is provided by volunteers.  If you would like to volunteer your time, coming to meetings or helping at an event, please e-mail us!  We would love to have you!

Please join us for our monthly meetings. We provide FREE childcare and snacks.
